Replacement tank LRA 125L Toyota Hilux 65 Petrol / Diesel

The replacement tank LRA is designed for the Toyota Hilux Series 65 RN/LN, extended cab petrol or diesel, 4-wheel drive, from 1983 to 1988. It replaces the original tank and increases the fuel capacity to 125 litres. This additional capacity allows for carrying more fuel for long-distance journeys, tracks, travel and professional uses in remote areas.

Positioned on the right side of the driveshaft, this tank retains the standard filler point and spare tire. The exhaust system must be modified, requiring a muffler change (not included in the kit). The instructions specify that the original fuel gauge unit is reused, with adjustments to the float arm to maintain an accurate fuel level reading. The driver's side front shackle may also need to be cut to the length of the shackle bolt nut.
