Additional fuel tank LRA Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 64L

The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with the 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine. Installed on the left side of the driveshaft, it adds an extra 64 liters of fuel in order to increase the vehicle's range during long-distance travel, expeditions, or off-road use.

This configuration retains the original exhaust system and spare tire location. The fuel tank uses a dual-fill system and was developed specifically for versions equipped with the 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine. It is not compatible with versions equipped with E-Torque technology.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The objective is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling, exhaust and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

The installation time is estimated at approximately 5 hours. The tank integrates with the vehicle's standard exhaust system and does not require relocating the spare tire.
