Additional tank LRA for Toyota Landcruiser GDJ250 PRADO 80L

The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado GDJ250. Installed behind the rear axle, it adds an extra 140 liters of fuel in order to increase the vehicle's range during long-distance journeys, expeditions, or use in isolated areas.

This configuration retains the original exhaust and uses a dual-fill system. The original main fuel tank remains in place, allowing for additional fuel capacity without altering the vehicle's main architecture. LRA also confirms compatibility with The Cruiser Company and Raslarr rear wheel carriers.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The objective is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling, exhaust and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

The assembly time is estimated at approximately 5.5 hours. The tank fits behind the rear axle without requiring any modification to the original exhaust.
