Additional tank LRA Toyota Landcruiser FJ73 BJ73 BJ74 MWB 80L

The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for Toyota Land Cruiser FJ73, BJ73 and BJ74. Installed on the left side of the driveshaft, it adds an extra 80 liters of fuel in order to increase the vehicle's range during long journeys, trips to isolated areas or off-road use.

This configuration uses a new, dedicated fill point. The installation requires a modification to the exhaust system.A custom exhaust line must be installed from the transfer case to the rear, with an outlet on the right side. This modification is not included in the kit.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The goal is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling system, exhaust, and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

The assembly time is estimated at approximately 7.5 hours. This time does not include any additional constraints related to the production of the custom exhaust system.
