There James Baroud Solar-Powered Mechanical Ventilation is the solar-powered automatic ventilation system that permanently solves condensation and humidity problems in the Rooftop TentA small integrated photovoltaic panel powers a silent extractor fan: stale air is continuously expelled, and dry air enters through natural openings. No battery, no vehicle connection required.
Neat installation in the top vent of the tent (compatible with all James Baroud hard-shell tents) or on an added vent. The fan starts working as soon as there's sun—precisely when you're camping and humidity is building up. At night, natural convection takes over. An eco-friendly, self-contained, and sustainable solution.

Installation takes 1-2 hours by a professional installer or careful DIYer: locate the drilling point on the vent or wall, drill an 80mm hole (using a hole saw), apply the silicone sealant, fix the HRV unit, and connect the solar panel to the surface. Maintenance: clean the blades every 6 months and check the seal annually.
