The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for the Toyota 4Runner LN130, VZN130. Installed behind the rear axle, it adds an extra 96 liters of fuel in order to increase the vehicle's range during long-distance journeys, expeditions, or use in isolated areas.

This configuration retains the original main fuel tank and uses a dual-fill system. The tank is compatible with the vehicle's standard exhaust and allows for increased onboard capacity without modifying the main original equipment.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The objective is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling, exhaust and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

Assembly time is estimated at approximately 5 hours. LRA specifies that this installation uses a right-side infill.
