The Ultimate Pulley System Solution for Synthetic Rope
A pulley system is an essential off-road technique for doubling the pulling power of your winch. However, traditional pulleys with a moving sheave often cause problems with modern synthetic ropes. The rope can get caught between the sheave and the side plates, irreparably damaging your equipment. Core (Donut) Idler Pulley This completely eliminates the risk. Its one-piece design with no moving parts provides a perfect sliding surface. It's the essential safety accessory for any winch owner using synthetic rope.
High-strength design in 6061 aluminum
Lightness is a major advantage during difficult recovery maneuvers. This pulley is machined from a single block of... 6061 Aluminum, an alloy renowned for its aerospace strength. It weighs only a fraction of the weight of a traditional steel pulley. Despite its lightness, it boasts an impressive breaking load of 20.4 TonnesIt withstands the extreme stresses generated during the recovery of heavy vehicles. The anodized finish ensures smooth gliding and reduces thermal friction on the rope.
Handling and Customization
The compact 98mm size makes this pulley extremely easy to handle and store in your planting bag. It is designed for use in conjunction with a soft shackle (soft shackle), replacing heavy and dangerous steel shackles. It accepts ropes up to 12mm in diameterTo match the style of your vehicle or for better visibility in mud, it is available in four distinct colors. Choose between the Black, THE Red, THE Dark Blue or the Cream during your order.

Why use a "Donut" pulley rather than a classic pulley?
The "Donut" pulley (or friction ring) has no moving parts. Unlike conventional pulleys, there is no risk of the synthetic rope getting caught between the wheel and the flange. Furthermore, it is much lighter and more compact, which makes handling safer in the event of a cable break.
What type of shackle should this turning ring be used with?
It is imperative to use this ring with a soft shackle (Soft shackle) made of synthetic rope. Never use a steel shackle directly on the aluminum ring. Metal-on-metal contact will damage the sliding surface and could create sharp edges that are dangerous for your winch rope.
