The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ75, FZJ75, HZJ78 and FZJ78 equipped with a single original tank. Installed behind the rear axlehe adds an extra 150 liters of fuel in order to increase the vehicle's range during long journeys, expeditions or use in isolated areas.

This configuration retains the original main fuel tank and uses a new, dedicated filler neck. The tank is compatible with the vehicle's standard exhaust system. Installation requires relocating the spare tire to create the necessary clearance under the chassis.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application. The objective is to optimize the available volume while respecting the mechanical constraints of the chassis, filling, exhaust and transmission.

The reservoirs LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

Assembly time is estimated at approximately 5 hours. This tank is not compatible with theTow bar Reinforced original Toyota part. It is intended only for models equipped with a single original fuel tank.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
