The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for Toyota FJ Cruiser GSJ15R petrol Wagon 4WD body, from 2011 to 2012. With its capacity to 90 litersIt allows you to increase the vehicle's fuel range while retaining the original main fuel tank. This additional reserve is particularly suitable for long-distance journeys, expeditions, raids, and travel in remote areas.

The fuel tank is located behind the rear axle with a standard exhaust system. It features a dual filler neck, allowing independent fuel supply to both tanks. Fuel transfer to the main tank is achieved via an electric pump controlled from inside the vehicle by a switch with a dedicated fuel gauge. The spare tire remains in its original position, and no modifications to the exhaust system are required.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application to optimize available volume while respecting the chassis's mechanical constraints. The tanks LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
